Museum of Palazzo Blu

Beautiful noble building located on the Lungarno Gambacorti. Its origins dates back to the Middle Ages, but has been restored many times during the century thanks to the families who lived there.

Today, in some rooms of the first floor and the noble floor is been organized a museum space that really enriched the cultural offer of Pisa. Thanks to the interest shown by the local bank, in the museum can be admire prestigious paintings of great artists such as Cecco di Pietro, Taddeo di Bartolo, Benozzo Gozzoli, Aurelio Lomi, Orazio e Artemisia Gentileschi, Giovanni Battista Tempesti and Umberto Vittorini.

The rooms are furnished in eighteenth century style with furniture and other objects of the time.
