Via S. Caterina 2, 56100 Pisa

Share Lungarni

Pisa is crossed by the final stretch of the Arno river and along its banks runs spacious streets on which arise important buildings and ancient churches. Among this is good to remember the Palazzo Pretorio, the Palazzo Gambacorti, the Museum of Palazzo Reale, the Church of Santa Maria della Spina, the Church of San Paolo and the Church of Santo Sepolcro.

Walking along the Arno is really pleasant and is a perfect method to explore the city and get to know the inhabitants in their everyday life. The open space created by the Lungarni gives to the historical centre a beautiful noble aspect even more suggestive when the light of the street lamps reflects on the water.
