Takes place every 16 June to celebrate Saint Ranieri, patron saint of Pisa. Every year, in the evening, the public lightening is switch off to leave space to 100.000 candles place along the profile of the historical palaces and buildings along the river Arno. Illuminated just by the soft light of the candles, Pisa show itself in a unique scenography. Around the 23:30 (11.30 pm) are also exploded fireworks.
The night before people can observe the procession of illuminating boats along the river.
